Donors to The Wharton Fund raise an unprecedented amount in unrestricted support

What’s new: The Wharton Fund eclipsed previous years in two key fundraising categories: overall cash receipts and total number of donors.

Why this matters: “Annual giving is the lifeblood of Wharton. Endowments generate income over time whereas The Wharton Fund provides funds that can be spent immediately,” says Beth Morris, Director of The Wharton Fund.

Small donations can drive big dollars: “Strong records of annual giving signal to potential funders, including corporations and foundations, that Wharton is worth investing in,” Morris said. “It shows that our alumni and friends are excited and believe in our promise.”
